We built this because we needed it ourselves.
RepairMatrix didn't start as a SaaS idea. It started as a problem inside one repair shop.
Fon-Fix Repairs opened in Mombasa in 2019, fixing phones, laptops, and consoles. Like most repair shops, it ran on a mix of a notebook for tickets, WhatsApp for client updates, and a spreadsheet for parts — the same setup almost every repair shop in Kenya still uses today.
That worked, until it didn't. Tickets got lost. Parts ran out mid-repair with no warning. There was no way to tell, at a glance, which of the fifteen phones on the shelf were actually ready for pickup.
So we built the system we actually needed — one screen for tickets, quotes, invoicing, and stock, built around how a repair really moves from drop-off to pickup. After running it in our own shop for real, we opened it up to other repair businesses as RepairMatrix.

Young Kenyans can build their own opportunities.
Fon-Fix Repairs started at 21, with no outside funding — just a shop, some tools, and a willingness to figure it out. RepairMatrix carries that same idea forward: build the thing you need, then make it available to others solving the same problem.
What guides how we build
Built on real use
Every feature exists because a real repair shop needed it first — not because it looked good on a features list.
Priced for Kenya
Plans in shillings, built around the realities of running a repair business here — not a generic global price tag.
Support that answers
Real replies from people who've run a repair shop, not a ticket queue that disappears into silence.
